Extraction Manager

Local manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join their team as an Extraction Manager. This role oversees production goals and quality control by scheduling sufficient staff to meet production requirements, handling staff trainings, organizing and maintaining inventory of spare parts, and maintaining data logs.

If you have a bachelor's degree preferably in food sciences and/or engineering, or mechanical or industrial engineering, and 5 to 7 years of experience in a supervisory role at a food production or agricultural facility, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, training, cross-training and scheduling for all shifts to meet production requirements.
• Organize and maintain inventory of spare parts.
• Ensure all aspects of extraction meet quality standards and follow correct manufacturing procedures.
• Ensure data is gathered, logged and maintained.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor?s degree preferably in Food Sciences, Food Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant field required.
• 5-7 years of experience in a supervisory role at a food production or agricultural facility.
• Proficient in PC-based computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Motivated, hardworking, dependable.
