Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Fence Installation Laborer to assist with our client's residential and commercial fence installations. This is a physically active position that offers the opportunity to learn a skilled trade while working alongside experienced installers. The ideal candidate will have previous fencing experience, a hard-working attitude, and the ability to work well with a small team.

Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Location

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Assist fence installers with residential and commercial fence installations.
• Load, unload, carry, and organize materials on job sites, including concrete bags, lumber, chain link fencing, and other supplies.
• Dig post holes using hand tools and power equipment.
• Mix and pour concrete to securely set fence posts.
• Operate a jackhammer and other construction equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site.
• Follow all safety procedures and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Perform other general labor duties to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, fencing, landscaping, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a jackhammer and other job site equipment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
• Reliable transportation to get to work.
