Job Description

ALTRES currently has an exciting position open at our Kona office for a Personnel Manager. The Personnel Manager will be responsible for maintaining business relationships, actively prospecting new accounts, and maximizing sales potential with current customers. If you have great people skills and a background in staffing, human resources, or a related industry, this is the job for you.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective customers in a wide variety of industries.
  • Market company's temporary, temporary-to-hire, and direct hire staffing services.
  • Make sales calls and meet with clients.
  • Establish, maintain, and cultivate current and existing client base.
  • Maintain records of interaction with all customers.
  • Attend job fairs, chamber functions, and other events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, SPHR, or PHR certifications, or two to four years of related human resources experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Typing speed of 45 WPM.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
