We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Club Resort Concierge to join one of Kona's most prestigious teams in the Hotels and Hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to their members and guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and their needs are met with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Pay

$29 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer all calls as the primary point of contact
  • Assist members and guests with personal and business matters
  • Make restaurant, spa, and salon reservations
  • Coordinate with various departments to arrange sports, recreation, and other activities
  • Provide information about island activities, tours, and restaurants
  • Offer directions and suggestions for off-property activities
  • Handle travel-related tasks, including airline reservations and check-ins
  • Manage rental car reservations
  • Coordinate property management services
  • Arrange specialty services such as in-home catering and party planning
  • Manage courier and USPS mail services, including tracking
  • Stay informed about Big Island highlights and events
  • Create and maintain club events and calendars
  • Maintain member database
  • Monitor member arrivals and departures, communicating information to appropriate personnel
  • Update website with current news, upcoming events, and other relevant information
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team for new members, guests, and prospects

Qualifications

  • Previous concierge experience required
  • Strong PBX experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in making restaurant reservations and knowledge of spa and salon modalities
  • Familiarity with island activities, tours, and restaurants
  • Experience with travel arrangements, including airline and rental car reservations
  • Knowledge of property management services
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook
  • Thorough knowledge of Hawaiian islands, with emphasis on the Big Island
  • Ability to handle a demanding, fast-paced environment and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Japanese language skills are a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
