Job Description

A local processing company is looking for a hard-working individual to join their team as a Seafood Packer for the next several weeks during their busy season. Duties of this job include Working in cold bio secure environment, packing, storing, and loading seafood, checking the quality and quantity of products, as well as cleaning production areas.

Qualified candidates will possess a valid driver's license and be able to multitask and work quickly.

Hours

Full-time, Sunday, Monday, Friday 8am-4:30pm 24 hours a week.

Location

Kailua-Kona, Big Island

Pay

$23 an hour

Responsibilities

• Pack fillets in sealer bags and use sealer to vacuum to seal order *Weigh product and enter in computer system
• Pack orders with ice and ice packs in ice bins and /or boxes
• Working inside in a cold bio secure environment (not freezer, just cool temperature/long sleeves advised)
• Ensure labeling is visible on or in bins.
• Comply with workplace safety standards.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to abide by safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to work outdoors under a covered area and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
