Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and route them appropriately
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Assist with scanning, faxing, filing, and other general office duties
- Keep the reception and waiting areas organized and welcoming
Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical office, front desk, or healthcare administration (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in basic computer tasks and office software
- Experience with EMR system - Elation (preferred, but not required)
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain patient confidentiality
Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No weekends, evenings, or major holidays
