Job Description

Great full-time opportunity on the Windward side. A local wholesaler in Kaneohe is looking to fill an Administrative Assistant opening. This role will provide a high level of customer service and handle correspondences, order taking, and customer invoicing. 

 

Addit​ional Responsibilities:

 

  • Answer multi-line telephone calls. Take accurate messages and forward to appropriate personnel. 
  • Provide a high level of customer service, handle correspondences and assist customers with inquiries.
  • Take orders and enter all information into QuickBooks. 
  • Prepare customer invoices (will receive invoicing training).
  • Perform general office duties such as printing, copying, data entry, and filing. 

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Previous customer service experience. Administrative/office experience desirable. 
  • Good computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Basic knowledge of QuickBooks helpful but training can be provided. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication with excellent phone etiquette.
  • Highly organized, detail and deadline oriented. 
  • Great work initiative with a strong willingness to learn new skills.
