IT Help Desk (Hybrid/Remote) (220362-11)A local organization is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to join their team and provide critical technical support to staff. This hybrid position is based on O?ahu, with responsibilities supporting a hospital in Kaneohe. The schedule runs Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to report on-site as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to troubleshoot effectively while maintaining strong communication with end users.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of support by reviewing and categorizing incoming tickets daily, routing, resolving, or escalating as appropriate.
- Answer help desk calls and collect detailed staff and device information.
- Deploy, track, and manage computers and user assignments within the ticketing system.
- Assist users with file backups to OneDrive and ensure proper synchronization of desktop and local files.
- Perform operating system updates, software installations, and application upgrades on a regular basis.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and solutions.
- Provide clear and user-friendly technical guidance to staff of varying technical proficiency.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven experience in IT help desk or technical support.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical users.
- Strong documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Must reside on O?ahu and be able to commute to Kaneohe as needed.
