Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, or passengers to their destinations in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

•  Operate vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries or passenger arrivals
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Load and unload cargo or assist passengers as needed
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and any incidents
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type
• Clean driving record with no major violations (no more than 2 convictions within 18 month period)
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation systems
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent
