We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Banquet/Dinner Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Banquet/Dinner Cook, you will be essential in producing high-quality meals and helping create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and menu plans.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during both banquets and dinner shifts.
Support menu planning and accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions as needed.
Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling at all times.
Use strong knife skills and kitchen techniques to prepare ingredients accurately and consistently.
Assist with catering and banquet events, including both cooking and service support when needed.
Help keep the kitchen organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout service.
Proven experience working as a cook in culinary environments, with banquet or fine dining experience preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Previous experience with menu planning and preparing meals for large groups is a plus.
Excellent cooking skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Prior restaurant or professional kitchen experience is highly desirable.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
This is a part-time position with mandatory hours from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Thursday through Sunday.
