Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Banquet/Dinner Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Banquet/Dinner Cook, you will be essential in producing high-quality meals and helping create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and menu plans.

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during both banquets and dinner shifts.

  • Support menu planning and accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions as needed.

  • Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling at all times.

  • Use strong knife skills and kitchen techniques to prepare ingredients accurately and consistently.

  • Assist with catering and banquet events, including both cooking and service support when needed.

  • Help keep the kitchen organized, clean, and running smoothly throughout service.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience working as a cook in culinary environments, with banquet or fine dining experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.

  • Previous experience with menu planning and preparing meals for large groups is a plus.

  • Excellent cooking skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

  • Prior restaurant or professional kitchen experience is highly desirable.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Availability Requirements

This is a part-time position with mandatory hours from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Thursday through Sunday.
