Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, energetic Cook to execute a quality brunch menu to company standards and assist with minimal banquet support. This role requires excellent prep, setup, breakdown, cleaning, and kitchen station management. You will work closely with kitchen leadership to deliver excellent food consistently and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook all brunch menu items according to standard recipes and quality expectations.
  • Set up, prep, break down, and clean kitchen stations before, during, and after service.
  • Assist with minimal banquet cooking tasks as needed (e.g., food prep, plate assembly, buffet set-up).
  • Maintain the kitchen cleanliness and sanitation: surfaces, equipment, tools, and utensils must be clean and organized at all times.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Store ingredients properly, rotate stock, and cover/label products for next shift.
  • Communicate with kitchen leaders about inventory needs, shortages, or quality issues.
  • Adhere to company policies, shift procedures, and kitchen standards consistently.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be available Sundays and able to work full-time (8 am–4 pm, Sunday–Thursday).
  • Prior cooking or food preparation experience preferred (restaurant, catering, hotel, or fast-paced kitchen).
  • Ability to stand for long periods, follow recipes, and work efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic understanding of food safety practices and sanitation.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical kitchen tasks as needed.
  • Food Handler’s card or willingness to obtain appropriate certification strongly preferred.
