This position offers hands-on experience across all major HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and support workforce planning.
- Create a positive and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
Payroll, Benefits & Employee Support
- Administer employee benefit programs and support annual open enrollment.
- Process accurate bi-weekly payroll and maintain payroll records.
- Serve as a resource for employee questions related to benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Coordinate employee recognition, wellness, and engagement initiatives.
- Support leadership in fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Conduct stay and exit interviews and recommend improvements based on employee feedback.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with workers' compensation, unemployment claims, investigations, and employee relations matters.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives that contribute to organizational growth.
Qualifications Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office.
