Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach continues to expand its teaching team of instructional leaders (our “Coaches”) as we grow into a 500-student 6th, 7th, and 8th grade middle school, and launch a 200-student 9th and 10th grade high school for the 2023-24 school year.  

 

Instructional leader roles cover courses such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Student Success, Special Education, Creative Media, Hawaiian, Computer Science, PE, Language, and Community Theatre.  Regardless of content area, we dynamic individuals who are vision- and values-aligned with DreamHouse and are highly collaborative, flexible, and open to new pathways in education. 

 

Instructional leaders work closely with and are managed and supported by the Academic Coach, with additional supports and services from the Chief Student Success Officer.

  • At least two years of instructional experience preferred;

  • Familiarity with Common Core, Smarter Balanced Assessment;

  • Deep appreciation for the ‘Ewa region, O‘ahu, and/or Hawaiian Islands;

  • Data analysis and application of improvement strategies.
