Opioid Settlement Program Specialist
$4,692 per month, salary commensurate with training and experience

 

 

Exempt, temporary, full-time, non-civil service appointment. This position is responsible for development, implementation, coordination and carrying out of day-to-day operational project activities project reporting, project and program monitoring, and procuring contractual services for the implementation of the Hawaii Opioid Settlement Project and the Memorandum of Agreement between the State of Hawaii, Hawaii County, City and County of Honolulu, Kauai County, and Maui County.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:  Graduation from a four (4) year accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree.  A master’s in public health, public administration and planning, business administration, or any of the health or social sciences is preferred. 

 

EXPERIENCE:  One and one-half (1-1/2) years of progressively responsible general experience in social work, public health or other related fields which required knowledge of current social and economic conditions, community organizations and the services and/or programs they offer to the community relative to alcohol and drugs, the prevention of substance abuse and the treatment and rehabilitation of substance abusers.

 

One (1) year of specialized progressively responsible experience which demonstrated the ability to conduct studies and analyses of programs or projects through active participation in the planning, coordination development and/or evaluation of programs and/or programs’ activities relative to alcohol and drugs, the prevention of substance abuse and the treatment and rehabilitation of substance abusers.

 

LICENSE:  Possession of a Hawaii motor vehicle operator’s license is preferred.
