Opioid Settlement Project Coordinator
$5,282 per month, salary commensurate with training and experience

 

 

Exempt, temporary, full-time, non-civil service appointment. This position oversees the implementation of the Hawaii Opioid Settlement Project (Project) ensuring that goals and objectives are met timely.  This includes oversight of the development, planning, implementation, coordination of operational activities including oversight and management of Project reporting, program monitoring, program expenditures, and procuring contractual services for the implementation of the Project and the Memorandum of Agreement between the State of Hawaii, Hawaii County, City and County of Honolulu, Kauai County, and Maui County.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and at least four (4) years of experience in direct behavioral healthcare delivery, collaboration, and coordination of services or; Master’s degree in public health, health administration, human services, healthcare related field of study preferred. 

 

EXPERIENCE:  One and one-half (1-1/2) years of specialized progressively responsible experience which demonstrated the ability to conduct studies and analyses of programs or projects through active participation in the planning, coordination development and/or evaluation of programs and/or programs’ activities, with preferred experience relative to the prevention of substance abuse and the treatment and rehabilitation of substance misusers.   

 

LICENSE:  Possession of a Hawaii motor vehicle operator’s license is preferred.
