Job Description

A local non-profit organization is seeking a detail‑oriented, reliable Administrative Assistant to provide ongoing support to a small, mission‑driven organization. This part‑time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys helping people, and can manage multiple administrative workflows with accuracy and professionalism.

Parking is available and free for this position.

Hours

Part-time, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Location

Kapolei, Oahu

Pay

$22 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Respond to phone calls and text messages promptly and professionally.
  • Communicate and coordinate logistics with operational staff, including drivers.
  • Track and maintain accurate student attendance records.
  • Support the online enrollment and registration process.
  • Generate identification/scan cards and process receipts through scanning and data entry.
  • Prepare and mail program materials as needed.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for student forms and documentation.
  • Track timesheets and gather data needed for internal reporting.
  • Enter mileage logs, daily activity summaries, and other required data into reporting systems.
  • Manage and update the organization’s master calendar.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Comfort with technology and data entry.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred but not required.
