Job Description

The Human Resources Manager oversees daily HR operations while partnering with leadership to support business goals and employee success. This role manages recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, compliance, performance management, and training initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and HR initiatives.
  • Oversee recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and employee onboarding.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, performance, and policy matters.
  • Lead employee engagement, recognition, and workplace culture programs.
  • Manage payroll, benefits administration, and employee support.
  • Coordinate performance reviews, coaching, and employee development.
  • Organize training and compliance programs for employees.
  • Maintain HR records, policies, and employment documentation.
  • Oversee workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and HR compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5 or more years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience with recruiting, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
