Work for an established industrial company with over 25 years of experience in Hawaii! They are seeking an Inside Sales / Customer Service Rep for their office in Kapolei. This position serves as the primary point of contact for contractors, builders, engineers, vendors, and customers, providing exceptional service while ensuring the smooth flow of orders from initial request through final delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with construction materials, industrial products, or commercial building supplies and be comfortable supporting contractors, engineers, and construction professionals throughout the order fulfillment process.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Location

Kapolei, Oahu

Pay

$20 to $24 an hour

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front order desk contact for contractors, builders, engineers, vendors, and customers.
• Receive, enter, process, and track customer orders from receipt through delivery, providing timely updates throughout the process.
• Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and logistics to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
• Answer incoming calls and emails, respond to inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and order status, and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry partners through exceptional service and communication.
• Prepare invoices, maintain accurate order documentation, and manage customer records.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to expedite orders and support efficient day-to-day operations.
• Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of customer service, inside sales, order processing, or sales support experience, preferably within construction materials, industrial supply, building products, commercial distribution, or a related industry.
• Experience working with contractors, builders, engineers, and commercial construction customers, with a strong understanding of material sales, order fulfillment, inventory coordination, and delivery logistics.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Basic math skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and inventory or order-entry systems.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative, follow-through, and the ability to work independently.
