Position Overview:
The Project Manager plans logistics, directs, coordinates and completes activities concerned with the construction of PV projects. Participates in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation. The Project Manager is also responsible for
direct contact with the customer throughout the life of the project. This person in position is to be flexible with this role as processes are being implemented to streamline overall operations at Rising Sun.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of PV project from sales submission to completion of construction
- Collaborate with all departments and personnel within Rising Sun to ensure that accurate information is continuously provided to the customer
- Maintain open communication with the accounting department and customer as installation milestones are met to trigger installment of payments in a timely manner
- Follow expected timelines to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow and promote company policies as well as follow standard operating procedures
- Manage multiple project timelines in project management software, and update progress in Net Suite on an ongoing basis
- Provide reports to management to ensure project scope and direction are on schedule
- Manage and build positive relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and other teammates
- Report any issues encountered throughout the job, finds solutions, and inform the director of operations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Project Management, BA and/or minimum of 2 years of related professional experience
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure
- Critical and analytical thinking skills
- Self-directed
- Leadership skills
- Mathematical skills
- PV design knowledge preferred
- Solar related knowledge is preferred
- Basic analytical skills, and administration skills
- Experience and knowledge in Federal and Hawaii State Law including: EEO, ADA, OSHA, TDI, FMLA, WC, FLSA, UI and Labor Relations, preferred
- Willing to travel overnight (required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
- Proficient at Excel, Word, Pipedrive, Google Drive
