Job Description

We are looking for a full-time, temporary Store Clerk to work in a medical facility located in Kealakekua. This position is responsible for receiving all incoming supplies and equipment, shipping items that need to be repaired or returned, maintaining inventory and delivering items to respective units in the medical facility. The duration for this position is expected to be approximately 2-3 months, possibly longer.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Location

Kealakekua, Big Island

Pay

$17 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming supplies and equipment and verify against purchase orders.
  • Follow-up on backorders.
  • Wrap and prep items that need to be shipped for repair or return.
  • Operate Materials Management System Software.
  • Carry out procedures in clerical work system.
  • Maintain stock record cards and storage of items/supplies.
  • Fill orders on storeroom requisitions and deliver to respective units.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized inventory.
  • Drive vehicle to purchase or pick up supplies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of previous clerical experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic math skills (multiplication and division).
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Intermediate computer experience
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Must pass a 2-step TB test.
  • Covid-19 vaccination required by client for this position. This is not an ALTRES Staffing requirement.
