Job Description

Nonprof​it organization in Kihei is seeking a part-time Federal Grant Administrator! There is potential to expand the position to full-time hours with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities.


Part-time, Flexible, 2-3 days Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm


Kihei, Maui


$25 an hour


  • Provide accounting management, support, and coaching for community organizations receiving federal funds.
  • Inform subrecipients of their responsibilities in managing federal funds.
  • Serve as a liaison between the receiving organization and grantee organization.
  • Assist subrecipients with managing and maintaining federally compliant records.
  • Perform due diligence for subcontractors and potentially related parties.
  • Review financial and narrative reports for accuracy and relevancy.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records on behalf of the grantee organization.


  • Must have at least 5 years of professional accounting experience, or equivalent, with some exposure to federal grants and non-profit accounting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with Oracle accounting software preferred.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required by company for this position. This is not an ALTRES Staffing requirement.
