A busy insurance office in Kihei is looking for an Ilocano or Tagalog speaking Customer Service Representative! This full-time position requires providing exceptional customer service throughout all customer conversations and transactions. In this role, you'll assist clients with their insurance needs, answer questions, process policy changes, and provide outstanding service while building lasting customer relationships.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Kihei, Maui

Pay

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels regarding policies, coverage, billing, claims, and general insurance questions.
• Educate clients on available insurance products and coverage options.
• Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and other policy transactions.
• Prepare and provide quotes for new policies and additional coverage.
• Assist with customer concerns and coordinate with claims and underwriting departments as needed.
• Review client accounts for accuracy and identify opportunities for additional coverage or cross-selling.
• Process premium payments, billing inquiries, and payment arrangements.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Stay current on company products, underwriting guidelines, and insurance regulations.
• Provide general administrative support and assist with other office duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of customer service/office experience; insurance industry experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in Ilocano or Tagalog.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Professional, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding customer service.
• Excellent listening and communication skills both oral and written.
