Job Description

Program:   Youth with Sexual Behavior Problems (YSBP), Domestic Violence Interventions (DVI), Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP)

Responsible to:  Executive Director

Classification:   Exempt

Hours of work:   Part-Time, 30 hours/week

1 . Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people of various ages, cultures and backgrounds.

Specific Qualifications:


1.     Licensed or licensable as a clinician in the State of Hawaii.

2.     Experience providing clinical program supervision in human services.

3.     Comprehensive understanding of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault victim and perpetrator issues.

 

Education & Technical Skills:


1 . Master’s Degree in one or combination of following fields: counseling, psychology, or social work.

2. Current First Aid and CPR to be obtained.

 

Function:


1.     To provide individual and group treatment to youth and adult offenders of sexual assault or domestic violence.

2.     To oversee sexual assault and domestic violence offender treatment programs for adult and juvenile clients referred as perpetrators by the courts and community agencies.

3.     To coordinate program staff in provision of services and maintenance of contract compliance.

 

Responsibilities:


1.   Program management, supervision and direct service support for the youth and adult domestic violence and sexual assault offender programs, to include continuous program development and maintenance of treatment approaches and standards for clinical review, psycho-educational curriculum and victim interface.

2.     Direct service provision for youth with sexual behavior problems.

3.     Direct service provision for youth with domestic violence and anger management issues.

4.     Oversee and maintain records and statistics as required by all funders; complete all documentation/reporting requirements as directed.

5.     Interface actively with other YWCA programs and representatives regarding program and client needs and concerns.

6.     Coordinate service delivery with other agencies and service providers and assist in the building of a comprehensive system to treat and serve families impacted by domestic violence.

7.     Participate in team meetings.

8.     All other duties as assigned.

 

Additional Requirements:


1.     Valid Hawaii driver's license, vehicle, and proof of insurance.

2.     Complete background check requirements.

3.     Willing and able to travel around the island for meetings.

4.     Willing and able to travel off-island for training and meetings as needed.
