Job Description

We specialize in highly perishable foods sourced locally and from the West Coast. Throughout the Hawaiian Islands, we service grocers, clubs, convenience and independently owned stores. Our Overnight Driver Helper is responsible for assisting drivers with delivery and product placement at stores within an assigned geographical area. The role requires traveling to multiple assigned accounts, replenishing shelves and ensuring proper display of merchandise.  The Driver Overnight Helper may also drive company trucks to travel between accounts and must maintain a valid driver license, PUC certificate, clean and verifiable driving record.

PLUS, our Overnight Driver Helpers will enjoy a 4 days/week, 10 hours/day work shifts! 


  • Assist delivery driver on route with product delivery, placement, and merchandising
  • Loading and unloading of products on pallets, trays and loose into and out of trucks
  • General stocking, rotating inventory, merchandising displays of various food items, product handling.
  • Safely operate material handling of equipment and dollies
  • Deliver perishable food products to retail accounts
  • Utilize lift gates, two wheeled trucks and/or pallet jacks
  • Handle product, verify count, and resolve discrepancies
  • Participate in employee safety meetings
  • Participate in periodic and annual staff training in food safety, employee safety and operational programs
  • Safely practice driving, operation of delivery trucks, and appropriate methods for lifting and loading product, supplies and equipment
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report preventative maintenance
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA regulations and commercial driving requirements as per State of Hawaii State Department of Transportation
  • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures


  • Ability to work overnight shift
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Complete PUC medical requirements
  • Clean and verifiable driving history
  • Warehouse and forklift experience a plus
  • Knowledge of local routes around Kauai
  • Experience working in tight spaces
  • Accuracy and thoroughness
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers, port representatives
  • Ability to communicate effectively via written, oral, and diagram form
  • Experience keeping orderly logs
  • Basic computer skills (word, excel)
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
