KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management Excellence
• Master comprehensive inventory management systems and contribute to operational excellence
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computer-based tracking systems
• Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing team on reorder requirements
• Organize products according to established systems for optimal efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline processes for increased efficiency and
accuracy
Receiving Operations & Quality Control
• Execute receiving operations with precision and attention to quality control standards
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, accuracy, and compliance with purchase orders
• Process receiving documentation and update inventory systems in real-time
• Report discrepancies and damage to purchasing team and vendors immediately
Equipment Operation & Safety
• Operate pallet jacks, dollies, and material handling equipment
• Maintain current safety protocols and follow safety guidelines
Shipping & Delivery Coordination
• Support shipping and delivery operations serving customers throughout Hawaii
• Prepare orders for shipment with proper packaging and protection
• Coordinate with delivery services and freight companies
• Maintain shipping documentation and delivery tracking systems
• Handle customer pickup orders and coordination
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Physical Capabilities
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods throughout shifts
• Manual dexterity for handling delicate lighting products and components
• Visual acuity for reading labels, part numbers, and computer screens
Technical Skills
• Basic computer skills including data entry and inventory system navigation
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents
• Mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
• Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures and material handling
Professional Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1-2 years warehouse or logistics experience preferred
• Previous forklift operating experience strongly preferred
• Experience with inventory management systems beneficial
• Clean driving record for potential delivery responsibilities
