Job Description

An award-winning engineering firm that services large contracts with the federal and state government is hiring an experienced CAD Technician.

Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location

Mililani, Oahu

Pay

$27 to $30 an hour

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare accurate CAD drawings and construction documents based on engineering specifications.
• Assist engineers with drafting, design updates, and project documentation.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Utilize additional design software such as REVIT, MicroStation, Bentley BIM, AutoCAD 3D, or electrical engineering programs (AGI, SKM, EasyPower, Paladin) as needed.
• Customize and program CAD software to improve drafting efficiency and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Organize and manage project files, revisions, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
• Experience with REVIT, MicroStation, Bentley BIM, AutoCAD 3D, AGI, SKM, EasyPower, Paladin, or similar engineering software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, mechanical, and spatial reasoning abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Leadership potential with the ability to initiate, build, and lead projects or organizations.
