Job Description

A growing design and construction firm is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join their team. This hybrid role blends project administration, coordination, and technical support, offering opportunities to grow into project management and design-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. While prior experience with CAD or Revit is helpful, the company is willing to train the right person in these programs. This position offers exposure to all phases of the construction and design process, working closely with engineers, clients, and contractors to support successful project delivery.

Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Location

Mililani, Oahu

Pay

$25 to $35 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist with project planning, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
  • Support engineers and project managers by maintaining accurate records, documentation, and communication.
  • Organize project files, track deliverables, and help prepare reports and presentations.
  • Assist with design and drafting tasks using CAD or Revit software (training provided).
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely updates and issue resolution.
  • Participate in meetings and help manage project logistics and documentation.
  • Support ongoing improvements to internal project coordination processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or construction-related roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret project contracts, specifications, and drawings preferred.
  • CAD/Revit experience a plus; training available.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
