Job Description

A private school in Central Oahu is seeking a Director of Development & Fundraising to join their team and help oversee the organization's annual fundraising program which includes developing and executing fundraising events, identifying and securing financial support from private individuals and businesses, building and maintaining ongoing relationships with donors, and tracking and maintaining all incoming donations and gifts.

The qualified candidate will have a background with major gifts fundraising, and is capable of building the fundraising program from the ground up. Apply today to be immediately considered.

Full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and oversee the organization's annual fundraising program.
• Identify and secure financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors.
• Collaborate with staff on the management, planning and executing of fundraising events.
• Maintain and track all donations and gifting.
• Prepare reports for all foundation and corporate fundraising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications or related field.
• Previous experience with major gifts fundraising required.
• Demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, hardworking.
