Field Technician 1 - Entry Level HVAC Remediator

CASCS technicians are the cornerstone of the duct cleaning industry in Hawaii. We are hiring Cleaning Technicians - No experience required, we will train you! Our technicians provide the highest standard of service in HVAC & Air Duct cleaning including specialized remediation services. Although essential services may vary based on customer needs, as a technician you will have the opportunity to make a difference every day. This position is responsible for HVAC, Air Ducts, Dryer Vent Cleaning.  You will learn the proper procedures of maintaining and cleaning HVAC systems, dryer vents, and various types of ductworks to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency. We are known for our quality and efficiency. You will help maintain and grow this standard. This role requires HONESTY, WORK ETHIC, attention to detail, some technical skills, familiarity with tools, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• HVAC System Maintenance:
• Learn to perform routine cleaning on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including but not limited to replace air filters, coils, and other components as necessary to ensure system efficiency according to CASCS and NADCA Standards and Procedures.
• Dryer Vent Cleaning:
• Learn how to inspect and clean dryer vents to prevent lint buildup and reduce the risk of fires.
• Learn how to remove obstructions and debris from dryer vent systems to improve airflow and dryer efficiency.
• Perform thorough cleaning of vent ducts, hoses, and connections using specialized tools and equipment.
• Customer Service and Communication:
• Be respectful, professional, and courteous.
• Direct all questions to team lead or supervisor on site. No authority to communicate scope of work with client.
• Safety and Compliance per OSHA and EM-385:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties to ensure personal and client safety.
• Maintain and use equipment and tools in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to HVAC and Dryer Vent Cleaning.

Qualifications:

• No experience required although it is preferred.  Will train right person.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to study and pass testing for Certifications and Qualifications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials. (Up to 50 lbs.)
• Comfort with working in confined spaces and at various height especially in attics and elevated work platforms
• Working in hot areas
• Working on roofs with fall protection gear and equipment
• Require entry into ductwork for cleaning
• Working from lifts

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: Depends on Experience 

Benefits: Medical Coverage Only (1.5% by employee)- Dental and Vision available at additional costs.

Schedule: M-F, Saturday sometimes Day/Night shifts
