Job Description

Our client is looking for a part time administrative assistant working 20-30 hour per week for a temporary project that will last 6-12 months.

You will provide administrative support for a project including, but not limited to: procurement, checking incoming supplies/materials against purchase orders, performing basic accounting/book keeping, managing documents, and managing other day-to- day tasks.

 

Additio​nal Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist supervisors and others in the procurement process including creating cost comparisons and requisitions
  • Track orders and incoming materials for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies with vendors
  • Collect and log receipts and invoices
  • Help prepare, manage, and assign account codes for management approval
  • Collect and prepare weekly time cards for management signature and ensure they are submitted in a timely fashion
  • Assist management with inventory organization and tracking
  • Coordinate activities and interact with other departments and vendors when required

 

Required Education and Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum three to five years of administrative or office related experience
  • Working experience in the field of construction is desirable. 
  • Ability to speak and write effectively, including email and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willing to learn new skills with a high level of initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Intuitive with computers for web-based, in-house software applications
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • High level of initiative
  • Sensitive to and respectful of cultural and environmental issues
  • Ability to work at 10,000 feet elevation, sometimes during inclement weather
