Retail company seeking a skilled and versatile HR Generalist to join their team. As an integral part of the organization, you will play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions and supporting the store operations.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm

Location

Wahiawa, Oahu

Pay

$31.25 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment and claims processing.
  • Handle workers' compensation cases, from initial reporting to claim resolution.
  • Oversee Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) compliance and administration.
  • Manage Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and other teams as needed.
  • Assist in store operations and customer service when required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist preferred. 
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
  • Strong understanding of benefits administration and workers' compensation.
  • Familiarity with FMLA regulations and DOT compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to assist in store operations as needed.
