CDL A Driver

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused CDL A Drivers to join our growing transportation team. Responsibilities:

- Operate tractor-trailer combinations safely and efficiently across regional or long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
- Transport freight in accordance with all applicable DOT regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery information
- Secure cargo properly using appropriate equipment and load securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries while maximizing fuel economy
- Respond professionally to changing schedules, weather conditions, and unexpected delays
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents immediately to management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and submit in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service at pickup and delivery locations

Requirements:

- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service requirements
- Excellent driving skills in various weather and road conditions
- Ability to lift and move freight up to 50 pounds when necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality

- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to sit for extended periods and maintain focus during long drives
