Hours

Full-time, 7:00am-3:30pm

Location

  • Waikoloa, Big Island
  • Kailua-Kona, Big Island
  • Waimea, Big Island

Pay

$25 to $40 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of skilled construction tasks, including framing, concrete work, demolition, and site preparation.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with building, assembling, or installing structures and fixtures according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
  • Load, unload, and organize building materials and tools on-site.
  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials to the required specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with hand and power tools (saws, drills, hammers, compactors, etc.).
  • Knowledge of basic construction methods, materials, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, or work orders.
  • Experience with concrete finishing, framing, drywall, or other trade specialties (preferred).
  • Understanding of job site safety rules and OSHA regulations.
  • Basic math and measurement skills for accurate cutting and layout.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to take direction and learn new skills on the job.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid insurance (required to access job sites and to drive company vehicles and equipment).
