Job Description

The Executive Director has overall responsibility for fiscal, operational, and program management of the organization and is responsible for carrying out the strategic developmental priorities as determined by the all volunteer Board of Directors


Responsible for agency operations, fiscal management, program design and efficacy, board relationships and community alliances.  Program direction includes setting framework and values, building curricular design, developing support services, and assuring quality program delivery.  Designs faculty, staff, and volunteer training and support to grow new educational and workforce collaborations across public and private sectors.   Researches relevant science-based pedagogy to innovate place-based experiential learning, adult learning models and workforce readiness and preparation. Spearheads new approaches to coordinate and integrate relevant services to act as a community hub for Hawaii’s most invisible and high needs of youth/young adults and their families. 


The Executive Director must be a strong and collaborative leader with a proven track record in financial management, fundraising, programming and operational supervision. Excellent written and oral communications along with creativity and networking will be skills possessed by the Executive Director.
