The role is responsible for servicing assigned customer stores on a daily or weekly basis according to Sales Route Schedule. Key duties include:
- Driving a company vehicle to visit and service each assigned account.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with store personnel and addressing requests or issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring freezers and product displays are clean, functioning properly, and meet planogram and merchandising standards.
- Maintaining product quality by checking for in-code items, rotating stock, and ensuring shelves remain full and sales-ready.
- Managing product replenishment by placing accurate orders in the route accounting system before daily deadlines.
- Maximizing use of customer shelf and backstock space, especially during promotional periods.
Qualification Standards
Required Education: High school diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sales/Marketing
Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
Licenses or Certificates
Required: Safe Driving Record; Valid Driver’s License
Preferred: Forklift Certification; Electric and Manuel Pallet Jack Certification
DOE: $50,000/year - $70,000/year
