Job Description

This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our client's payroll team supporting them in their day-to-day operations for the next 4-6 months. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in payroll processing and accounting, along with exceptional detail and organizational skills.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (possible weekends)

Location

Wailuku, Maui

Pay

$25 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and efficiently for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in payroll processing with knowledge in correlating software.
  • Proficient in Sage HRMS with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
