Irrigation System Service Worker I - $4,105 per month (BC-05)

Irrigation System Service Worker II - $4,441 per month (BC-07)

Duties Summary

Irrigation System Service Worker I: Performs semi-skilled and unskilled work tasks in the operation and maintenance of an irrigation system; assists in regulating the distribution of irrigation water; and performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Irrigation System Service Worker II: Performs a variety of job operations in the operation and maintenance of an irrigation system; regulates water flow in the distribution of irrigation water; and performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Level I: General Experience: ONE (1) YEAR of progressively responsible maintenance work experience which required the application of plumbing, pipefitting, masonry and/or carpentry skills.
 
Level II: General Experience: TWO (2) YEARS of progressively responsible maintenance work experience which required the application of plumbing, pipefitting, masonry and/or carpentry skills.

Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements, will apply.

Driver's License: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license at the time of appointment. 

Physical Ability: Applicants must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to  with 50 pounds unassisted, and 100 pounds with assistance and/or the use of equipment (e.g., hoisting equipment, hand truck, etc.) for heavier loads, with or without reasonable accommodation.
