Senior HR Business Partner (SNRHR)#KONA_INDEED
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner to join our client's dynamic team in the Science & Research industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive HR initiatives, support organizational growth, and foster a positive workplace culture as the deputy to the Chief HR Officer.
Hours
Full-time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location
Waimea, Big Island
Pay
$90,000 to $108,000 a year
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic HR leadership and management, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals
- Develop strong partnerships with business leaders, offering guidance on HR matters and supporting decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while managing risk
- Foster positive employee relations and contribute to the development of a thriving organizational culture
- Oversee HR operations and policy development to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Lead talent development initiatives and succession planning efforts
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decision-making
- Serve as Acting HR Leader in the absence of the Chief HR Officer
- Participate in various committees, including HR-related and cross-functional teams, to provide strategic HR insights
- Assist with special projects, including cross-departmental initiatives and organizational change efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a technical field from an accredited four-year college or university (equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience will also be considered)
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in human resource administration, with a strong working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, and performance management
- Certification in Human Resources: SPHR/PHR, SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP, or GPHR
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic HR leadership and partner effectively with senior management
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Demonstrated integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent strategic thinking and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in change management and cultural competency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
