Special Education Paraprofessional Tutor (PPT)

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional to work one-on-one with students with special needs. As a key member of our team, you'll provide individualized support to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with an assigned student or students to implement their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

• Provide academic support in various subjects, including reading, writing, and math, under the direction of the special education teacher.

• Assist with daily living skills and personal care as needed.

• Help students with behavioral regulation and emotional support, following established plans.

• Facilitate positive social interactions and inclusion with peers.

• Record and track student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a special education or one-on-one setting.

• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
